The short version

Fourteen days, no questions

Within fourteen days of any charge — the first one or a renewal — write to hello@skiplink.app from the address on the account and ask. We refund the full amount to the original payment method. We do not ask why, we do not offer you a discount to stay, and we do not count how many reports you generated first.

The refund is processed by our payment provider, which is the seller of record. It usually lands within five to ten working days depending on your bank; that part is not ours to speed up.

This is our own policy, freely given. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal — for example as a consumer in the EU or the UK — you keep it in full, and nothing here reduces it.

After fourteen days

A renewal that has run past its fourteenth day is not automatically refundable, because by then the service has been provided: pages were fetched, scans were run, servers were paid for.

Two exceptions, and we apply them without argument:

Cancelling

Open the billing portal from your account and cancel there. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep the paid limits until then, and you are not charged again.

You do not need to email us, and there is nothing to talk you out of it. If the portal will not let you cancel for any reason, that is a bug: tell us and we will cancel it by hand the same day.

What happens to your data

Nothing is deleted when you cancel. The account drops to the free limits, which means fewer monitored sites and share links that expire again — but the findings, the history and the reports stay where they are, and they come back in full if you resubscribe.

If you would rather it were all gone, ask and we will delete it. That is covered in the privacy notice, and it is a separate request from cancelling on purpose: leaving should not destroy your record of what you fixed and when.

Free is free

There is nothing to refund on the free plan, and nothing to cancel. Auditing in the extension runs in your own browser, costs us nothing, and is not metered.

Asking

One address, answered by a person: hello@skiplink.app. Include the email on the account and roughly when you were charged; we can find the rest.
